Technical Information

Story Wizard is designed for home computers.

As long as you have a Microsoft Windows operating system that is no more than 10 years old, Story Wizard will work for you.

In technical terms, you need a personal computer with a Pentium ® III 800Mhz equivalent or higher processor. Microsoft Windows ® 98/ NT/XP operating system. 64MB RAM. 60MB Hard Disk space. Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device.
The Readback Text function requires Windows XP and a Windows compatible soundcard.

You’ll need a printer connected to your PC if you want to be able to print out the story. If it is a colour printer, so much the better. The software lets the user design a full colour cover for their story – incorporating photos or clip art.

They can also change the size and colour of their writing – and include pictures on each of the pages to produce an illustrated book.

Includes an electronic diary – with password to protect against nosy parents. Some of the best creative writing is to be found in diaries.

The Readback text function reads back everything that has been written – with one click of your mouse your story comes to life!
